Jake Gyllenhaal, the actor best known for being a lumberjack, shocked the nation when he showed up in paparazzi pictures the day before this blog predicted he wouldn't. Obviously conflicted by the recent unveiling of his secret outdoorsy life, Jake, whom we have watched transform from actor to singer to Underdog to logging professional (though always a politician), is giving nothing away about whether or not he will continue to wield an ax in his spare time. All we can say is that we hope he didn't go row-boating this morning in his nice pants.

I Heart Lumberjacks, Hahaha great post again PG.
LOL:)
Oh poor me, I honestly thought there was site called I Heart Lumberjacks (I'm a bit slow you know).
Not so lamberjack of him wearing that suit isn't it? ;)
Holy effing hell. Between the sight of Jake in a fitted white shirt and gray slacks, and the previous post with pics of him in the great outdoors, being a rugged outdoorsman...I need a moment. Several moments, in fact...
*fans self*
N-n-n-nice.
Heh. :p
OT: Jake and Reese and Jakes folks a the Rufus Wainwright concert in Hollywood on Sunday:

I Heart Lumberjacks.
Lol.
I must say he does look good! Darling if I could pull this look off. I'd never work again!
Thanks to you, PG, I have Monty Python's "Lumberjack Song" going through my heat on repeat.
Particularly the line in which the singer "puts on women's clothing." (Of course, I'm picturing Jake in the "Dreamgirls" gown.)

I've been singing the "Lumberjack Song" too. I instantly thought that as soon as I saw the post yesterday. "Just like my dear ma ma". :)
OMG. Looking at the pics of him walking down the street with the lady who can only possibly be a drone type worker bee, it just occurred to me. Look carefully. (gasp!) He's not wearing a t-shirt under his white shirt!
Uh, that's interesting. My comment hath vanished. All I said was the same thing anon 1:40 above just said, about him not wearing a t-shirt. Look out, anon. You too may be zapped. *gets out tinfoil hat*
Don't feel bad Cherita. For some reason mine tried to double post.
It looks like the same outfit he wore on the cover of the Feb. '07 issue of GQ!
^^^Hedda, someone said the same thing elsewhere. I think these slacks are a lighter color, personally. But hey, we know Jake does not subscribe to the wear-it-once-and-throw-it-away cliche lifestyle. It certainly could be.
Sorry, Cherita. That was my fault. I was on a tiny ThinkPad in my car last night and it occassionally gets stuck on links and then acts of it's own accord, so, I think I may have accidentally hovered over some comments last night and then pressed enter to move onto something else. Soz!
Thanks for solving that mystery, BPB. Glad to know I'm not being targeted by the NSA for revealing sensitive information about Jake's wardrobe.
