Well for part of September he will be in Toronto, probably. For the Toronto International Film Festival. They are doing a Gala presentation for Rendition, whatever that means.

Well, Jake will defintely be in Toronto, for the film fest, the first two weeks in September. Otherwise, no clue where he will be the rest of the month.

The Joe Namath project is just another rumor. Is there a script? Is there a producer? Is there financing? Is there a point?
If Jake is in Toronto for REndition, most likely, he will only be there for two or three days at the very most. Just as he went to Cannes for only two days.
Actors promoting a festival screening of their work usually just come in for media promotions and the actual screening, they schmooze industry types and they leave. It is really a part of the job.
And the fact that I have not yet been called out for being a pervert is why I love Jake Watch! :D
And yeah, this Joe Namath rumor is so...unsubstantiated. Jake doesn't seem to be serious about anything new at this point. Although he could definitely pull it off. The hotness of Jake as a football player has definite appeal. See? Pervert.

As for "Rendition," thank you for giving me yet another reason to see it. (As if I needed a reason.)
The only flaw here is that Jake was supposed to be the one to emerge from the shower. But I can live with a slight change to the scenario.

1:06: Jake doesn't do stuff like that anymore unless he is involved, ie: hosting, presenting, nominated. Bafta, Espys, GG, AA, MTV all fit that criteria. Who knows where he will be in late Sept.
Going to awards shows and related parties is something people do to see and be seen. They are working occasions to get your name out there, to meet people you need to talk to, to find out what's going on, etc. Jake doesn't need to do any of that. He only attends events if he has an official role to play as in being a presenter or a nominee. And aside from his SNL gig, he has no relationship to television or the Emmies. His handlers, in fact, would probably avoid them. Not consistent with hisimage. I mean, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon doln't do these things either. So why should Jake! Jake probably has access to parties and people most of those folks only dream of getting.
I know that Rendition is about a very serious subject that will be discussed when the movie is reviewed when it opens in October, but is it wrong for me to get, um excited about this love scene???
^^^ Um, no! Please, if we're going to have to sit through torture and shit, then I want some sex to balance it off!! I'm a picky movie-goer like that. :D
And anon, honestly, we don't know what Jake is doing pretty much 100% of the time. If he was that easy to track, then my inevitable meeting with him would have happened already. ;) If it's any consolation, every time I've been to LA, he's been on the opposite coast. If you're even in the same city as him, you're luck it greater than mine!
