Couldn't possibly have anything to do with gender and the libidos of the DA/judges involved. I would never even suggest such a sordid thing. (And for the record, I'm not excusing him.)
^^^ True. But the disparity in sentencing is huge. Perhaps CA has so many DUIs that if everyone went to jail there would be no one left on the streets.
I looked it up, and yup, it's 'cause it's he was in Michigan. They're strict about first time offenses there (LINK)...as opposed to California where a thousand different things get taken into consideration (LINK).
I agree with felicia, California drivers are insane. If everyone who was pulled over for a DUI there went to jail, there probably wouldn't be anyone left...
It's 2.43 in the morning and I'm reading the council posts and ROFLMAO. They're great, I just want to remember a few to impress my friends because I'm crap at jokes.
Well he sure doesn't beat Bill Murray when it comes to originality. Being pulled over in central Stockholm at 3 am in a GOLFCART - now that's something...
Not impressed with the drinking and driving stuff at all. NOT. AT. ALL. I hope he's smart enough to feel ashamed and then to never do it again.
I find any determent from Jake-related news or postings utterly offensive!

just curious, do you know if he's in portland oregon right now, because i swear i just saw him at a movie theater and so now here i am online trying to see where he is right now :-)
You know, DUIs, pant-less camera flashing and rehab sessions. Suddenly formal shorts don't look like the worst trend of the summer after all, but I still ain't wearing 'em.

Perhaps it has more to do with the state in which he was arrested? Different states, different penalties.
