With the exception of Sir Anthony and John Madden, I think every single person in the background is a JW agent. Matter of fact, Jake has no idea how bad it gets! He needs coverage 24/7 and he needs it front, back and sideways. His devastating charm, his accessibility and friendliness, the strong sex vibe that radiates from him, those "do me" eyes. He draws attention like Horse poop draws flies. As it were. I think the white haired gentleman with cane was a really nice touch. Lends something of a Bond-ish, European flavor to everything. The fact that they actually may have been in Europe notwithstanding.
no, i'd bet that anthony hopkins and john madden are both agents. you can see it in their eyes-- they're keeping the corner of their eyes on jake even as they face the cameras. i agree with kaydee. jake is so heavily watched at all times that most days, he himself must be the only non-agent around him. i like to think that his innocence and obliviousness (word?) is not unlike truman in the beginning of the truman show =).
