JAKE TAKES TIME OUT OF BUSY SHOOTING SCHEDULE TO MAKE JAKE WATCH PREMIERE

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Hot of the presses; the following was copied and pasted directly from the Associated Press' website and is 100% true:

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jake Gyllenhaal arrived in Los Angeles Thursday night for the premiere of his new movie, The Day After Tomorrow Never Dies. Gyllenhaal's appearance was a surprise as he is spending time in Morocco filming his next movie Rendition. When asked about his unexpected appearance, Gyllenhaal said, "Oh, I wouldn't have missed it. I really wanted to be here for Prophecy Girl and britpopbaby. It's so sad that they've been mysteriously kidnapped and are missing the release of this absolutely true documentary about their extremely adventurous daily lives. I didn't think I was going to be able to make it until the very last minute which is why I'm wearing the same clothes as from the Jarhead premiere." Part one of the movie has a wide release today; further installments will be released weekly until the entire movie is available. Interested parties are being told to go HERE to read the film.

Reviews for the film have been favorable. Roger Ebert said it was, "the best movie in the history of the world. I'll never watch another movie for as long as I live because nothing can compare to it." Entertainment Weekly has given it the first ever "A+++ to infinity" and Gyllenhaal himself has said, "It's, like, really cool except for the part where my dog gets stolen. Hold on, which one got stolen again?"

Also in attendance at the premiere were Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan.

For once Jake's responses were actually coherent, and none of his usual "Jake talk" leaving us mystified at what he just said. Although not knowing which dog got stolen = typical Jake fashion.

Wow Jake made to the LA premiere- good going agents.
Any news if he's going to make it to the Scottish premiere?
There is going to be a Scottish premiere right?

I sure hate that BPB and PG missed the premiere! I wanted to see how they responded to the "who are you wearing" question. If I had been there, I would have been wearing Jake!!!!! Head to Toe!!! Mmmmm.
(A symptom of Jakelessness is EXTREME horny-ness.)

Wow...the talent amongst the agents is staggering. The script is awesome. I'm rather overwhelmed...think I'd best have a sit and a cuppa to gather my thoughts. Great work, kids!

How good of dear ol' Jakey to show up! Isn't he just a sweetheart! I'm afraid I missed the premiere due to other engagements (assigned to the Morocco job this weekend so I had some stuff to take care of before leaving), but I'm sure there were other agents there basking in the glory.

Okey, I'm off to read part one and then I have to go, I think I hear the Jake Watch helicopter in the distance.... Toodeloo agents!

OT: Mission report! Seems like Reese is not with Jake and the crew in Morocco filming. There are pictures of her and Ryan together at their daughter's school play earlier this week at Pink Is The New Blog.

Oh well, I guess I will get all the info as the JW helicopter drops me off in Morocco in a while. I'm airbourne as I type, and I tell 'ya dudes - this new pilot of ours must have gotten his license in a box of cereal or something. It's one hell of a bumpy ride - I can hardly type for crying out loud! Gotta get off the computer and buckle up or I won't get to Morocco in one piece. We need to discuss the future of this pilot when I'm back at the headquarters again. Until then - over and out. (Who the hell hired him?!)

^^^Sheesh - that's what you get for being excited and posting a comment before reading all of them! You look like a doofus for repeating someone else's comment nearly word for word!

I guess great minds think alike, right, Claire?

Whew!! I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes. There are people in my immediate vicinity who are serious about having me institutionalized!!! I LOVE TDATND!!! I especially love, no, ADORE the dialogue between Peter and Jake!!! Pure Genius. In Fact, the way you portray Jake and Peter's characters is hysterical. When I got to :"Jake. Stay with me...." I could actually see that happening. I heard Peter's voice! You captured them! And Jake is priceless. I just totally lost it. And honestly. Kitty seems like Jake's true soulmate. I mean, I think they are on the same wavelength. Kindred spirits! I just spit Coke all over the keyboard and the monitor, laughing out loud! PLZ! Tell me there's lots more with Peter and Jake. Unbeatable combo. Truly.

Words cannot even begin to express how amazingly more-than-perfect this movie is!! Roger Ebert was right! Can I be in the sequel? when does it start shooting?

Love the Trailer to TDATND!

FYI: Are you aware that you can be sued for giving Associated Press (AP) credit for a piece of news they didn't write? I'm just telling you so you'll know. If I were you, I'd use a make believe press agency for the joke.

^^^ Believe it or not, we're pretty careful about what we do around here. I think it's pretty clear that that AP credit was a joke and that we are not actually claiming the story or picture came from the Associated Press, which is to say I'm fairly we could talk our way out of any legal proceedings. But thanks for your concern. :)

Jake said...

That should read "fairly certain." Oops.

Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Seriously? Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom.

I know y'all are discussing important legal issues, but I just wanted to ask a very important, critical, crucial, serious question about TDATND: Will Jake have any shower scenes????

KayDee said...

Will Jake have any shower scenes????

how can you even doubt it!? no film worth its name can have no jake-in-the-shower scenes.

Anonymous said...

Anon 4:35 here. Yeah, yeah. But the shower scenes in previous films were very problematic, IMVHO. The shots were just set up wrong, bad composition. And truthfully, I think someone didn't really know how to handle that damned camera, bcz it was SO out of focus...especially in Jarhead, where there was all that blurry, steam room effect. It just didn't WORK. I sincerely hope in TDATND, who ever takes the shot can really work it...I would be very happy to donate my services to a very worthy cause...

^^fairly certain the AP joke fits the "incognito" JW Movie Premiere!
