He must be reading my personnel file. I have that effect on men, children ... small animals ... occasionally some women. Really it depends on how many drinks I've had and then there was that one time at that sorority party.

I suspect this is a portrait of Jake, in his home office, trying to get through all the scripts he's been asked to read since "Brokeback Mountain" came out. You can see it's been a little colder than usual in California lately, due to climate changes caused by global warming. Our boy's worked out so much & become so thin, for purposes of being filmed in "Rendition," that he's become super-sensitive to the cold.
Oh, and I do love the labels on the boxes. ;-)
Lets hope he stops reading after that file!
jakey, too much reading will make you shortsighted and you will have to wear glasses (belive me, i know). and glasses would hide those baby blues.

BTW, finally saw the preview for "Zodiac" on a big screen, down in the Village on a spookily warm day. (It feels like spring here in NY, as if we've fast-forwarded over the whole winter.) Looked pretty good up there, and that old Faces song sounded wonderful. Heard some moviegoers around me happily recognizing Jake & Robert Downey, Jr.
