It's only a minute or so long but you get to hear a couple of lines of poetry. Cantara said that after I heard Stephen's midwestern twang I might not love him anymore - not possible unless he like, reversed over my dog or something. He sounds similar to Jake which makes sense I guess.

Yes, that's probably more accurate, but since I've never heard Stephen before but obviously have heard Jake, that felt more natural to say. :-)

Poppa's voice is exactly like Jake's!I wasn't looking at first on the screen and when it started I was sure that it was Jake who was speaking!ha..very nice!
Jake will be his Dad in years to come. My God they look alike and talk almost the same. You know how we always turn into our parents as we get older. It is easy to see where Jake gets his sex appeal.
Aww Poppa G! I was expecting his voice to be deeper but he has a nice sounding voice and it definately sounds similar to Jake's!
joyce, just read that people report. are they serious? how reliable is people with these things, anyway? it sounds more like the typical us weekly/star blurb (which i never trust)
haha, thanks joyce-- i'm testing out this avatar cuz it seems to go with the hard-chicks-in-comic style a bit. not smurf-like at all, but i'm sure i'll switch again soon. yours is quite nice, you should keep it in reserve in case you want to go back to it after switching.
forgot to comment on the stephen secret-- it's one of the best! i just noticed how maggie overall looks like mom, but has dad's exact doe-like eyes! jake looks like pops, but has his mamma's bigger/rounder eye shape... what a gorgeous family, inside and out!

I dont think Stephen sounds like Jake at all.. and I sure as hell don't think Jake "will be his Dad in years to come". Bloody hell, they don't even look alike.
vanz-- have you ever seen highway, or bubble boy? i think our boy has some hidden lisp as well. but he's such a good actor, his voice changes a bit from movie to movie (i know everyone raves about heath's voice change in bbm, which is truly amazing, yes, but honestly, jake does it as well, maybe just not as obviously).
btw, vanz, interesting avatar. the anime chick looks a little like charlize theron.

Hi Smurfette and everyone. Yeah, I saw Highway and Bubble Boy. I like them both. I suppose Jake's voice does change from movie to movie, but I have never noticed a hidden lisp with Jake.
As for Heath in BBM, I couldn't understand a bloody word he said; he mumbled his way through the whole film so much so I had to see it twice. (And of course there was Jake to be had all over again, so I'm not complaining). I just got BBM on DVD and keep rewinding all of Heath's 'bits' just to catch the dialogue. It was then I realised I think I have trouble understanding American accents, or maybe it's just Heath.
I'll take the Charlize Theron comment as a compliment. Avatars are such difficult things to pick. I'd be looking around for a week for a cartoon one I'd like so I just used this one. It's some kind of nature girl or something...
