Last night around 7:00 I saw Jake Gyllenhaal at Paragon Sports by Union Square. He was shopping for running sneakers with a really fit trainer-looking Chelsea-type guy. Jake is dreamy.

Frank Marshall is the producer. It says on his IMDB. I think they've made a mistake by crediting him as director. There is a director called Frank Marshall but I think he's a different man.

cina, not just jenny lewis, but also dave eggers, the author of 'a heartbreaking work of staggering genius', one of my favorite books! and jake likes him too (hehe, good taste) since he's mentioned his name in a jarhead interview when listing the new generation of authors like anthony swofford. maybe jake will meet dave eggers, and eggers will write something wonderful for jake to play! or adapt AHWOSG for him-- it's such a sweet, funny and sad story. and jake would have to play father figure to a little bro... i would def like to see that! it would be a nice change after a bike movie =P. oh, i could hope, no?

cina, eggers' debut novel is long and rambling and self-conscious and heartbreaking and hilarious- but i loved it. it's his memoir, of sorts. jonathan safron foer is a good author too-- jake's mentioned him as well.
