RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR DEBATE ABOUT OUR CONCERNS OVER PAP PHOTOS...

...look who shows up! Aah, the irony.
He's either offering to wash their windscreen for them or is heavily involved in a conversation about his dad's response to our questions;
"Yeah, I know. I was like, Dad, just tell them you like to grow Bonsai trees and watch reruns of Judge Judy to relax. They'll find out anyway."

Yep, those are the only two rational explanations for whats happening here.

Haha, I was just going to mention these pics... lol!

It's nice to see him in something other that spandex for a change, don't you think? :-)

And those aviators.... damn. I love them on him!

He is looking quite tanned and lovely...and YAY the return of cargo shorts! I thought he burned them all!

...Though the spandex were really nice... ;)

It's at least nice to see him doing something that doesn't make me feel guilty about not using that gym membership that I signed for ín November last year...

Nice to have you back Jake and see that you can do other things than bike, bike and bike. It makes me feel lazy ;)

OK, scratch whatever bullshit I was spouting off in the last post. My boss just yelled at me and to keep from crying, I came over here and I'll be damned! There's Jake looking all cute and adorable and I feel much better! I totally subscribe to the theory that living through other people is sometimes a necessity, for instance, when reality is not your friend. :D

@anna: LOL!! I agree, I get that too every time there's pictures of him all sporty! :)

@PG: Glad you're feeling better, I hate bosses like that! Why is it always people that have the power to make you cry just by raising their voice that become bosses? The mysteries of life...

That's the way, Jake! No socks with your flip-flops!

I know he's handsome because I sit here thinking that his bare foot is attractive. (What a sad case I'm turning out to be.) And I'm thinking this in the middle of summer, during a heat wave in NY, when generally the last damn thing I want to look at is strangers' ugly, dirty. smelly & knobby-looking feet.

I go with him offering to wash the windscreen for them. 'Cos if he did it with great gusto, that would take us back to wet Jake, which seems to make an awful lotta people on this blog very happy ... and besides, I don't think he'd rat out Papa G about those Bonsai trees and Judge Judy, he's too nice for that! :-)

Maybe he's checking himself out in the wing mirror.LOL

I love Judge Judy! I think Jake's looking at you Brits!

"The Sex" is here, The Sex himself ;)

Car Passenger: "Excuse me sir, do you happen to know the way to Jake Watch?"

Jake (turns to Dad): Dad would know better than me...he's been there before...Dad?"

Pthhhhhh - hahahaha.
I'm a Jake geek and I'm glad wrote his answers - you hardly ever get a real interview like that out of people because of the interviewer. Have we've been adopted? Does this make Jake out brother? I don't know if thats right. Maybe a ward of the court and Stephen has power of attorney!

I hope Papa realizes I look to him as a mentor of creativity rather than a celebrity. I mean - I can look at anyone in this industry but everytime he writes an article - answers questions - hell - even gives Jake advice - I listen. That stuff sticks to me. Maybe its stuff I should of heard from my own dad but I say don't ignore good advice when you connect with it. I'm turning the camera on my own life. I want to comfort the uncomfortable and discomfort the comfortable.

I'm always itching to hear from Naomi thats why I got so excited when she started her blog on Huffingtonpost.com.

What a bastard! Reality bites sometimes but I use to recover myself with Jake (he boosts my spirit).

He looks yummy!

PG, your boss is a dumby and his soul is filled with doo-doo! So there! nyah

Also, I'm going to have to wait a good two weeks before I start in on the completely 'out there' salacious comments about Jake since PapaG has been here.

PapaG told us to focus in on our reall lives and stop living vicariously through celebs (he said it real nice-like) but when RL is all stressful and unglamourous you gotta unwind with the lives of the richa and famous.

Lastly, I hate feet.

But Jakey's are nice. Also PG I just read an email from my boss from this afternoon about how me nor my student workers will be getting paid for the rest of the week because I didn't return all my corrected papers to the office. I didnt' get the email because I WAS BUSY GRADING THE FUCKING PAPERS! and also helping with my students' presentation for tomorrow. and also several other administrative things.

I forgo lunch and work til night fall, lug a heavy box of graded portofolios around on my hour long- three changeover commute home and she's telling me I'm going to be a fucking volunteer for the rest of the week. I don't bloody think so lady. Wrong answer!

Ooh, he wears a T-shirt from France! Maybe he'll wear our T as well!I so hope so..
Do you know that song of Touch and Go.."I've noticed you around..I find you very attractive..I find you very attractive..um..would you go to bed with me?" :D I don't know why..It just crossed my mind.

God, squall and PG! Both good examples of why reality should be avoided 99% of the time.

And Naomi writes for The Huffington Post site? She blogs? See, I knew they'd come round to our way of thinking eventually.

zoo said...

Yeah, exactly, PG and Squall. If we needed to justify why we come here we now have two examples.

I know we will never truly understand the pressures of being a celebrity, and that grass may always seem greener on us.

But, likewise, would someone living their kind of lifestyle remember or understand how much irelevant, mundane shit we have to put up with on our daily lives. I do wonder.

I guess that was exactly Stephen's point - that it works both ways, and that at the end of the day neither matters. I hate to say it cos he sounded kind of embarrassed by it, but the man's wisdom knocks me.

PG and Squall, What a pair of knobs you both have for bosses. I for one await further developments with baited breath.

Naomi Starting blogging last year. just search for her in the blogger index over at the hunffingtonpost.com. She did 3 I believe, then Stephen did one which was great too. There's also an older interview from the WGA (Writers Guild of America) online with Naomi.

Bizarre - but I was a maggie fan when Secretary came out and never knew she even had a brother! Hahahaha fast forward a few years! BOING! I remember seeing Running on Empty (written by Naomi) - hell this goes back to Naomi for me. And Jake I was pissed too when she didn't win the Oscar - River was so effin awesome how could that scrip not win??
