I'm seriously fucked up, but the reason I'm stalking them this summer is that I'm bored and they're the only one of my favourite bands touring in Europe so...
By the by, Gahan is such a hottie too. Have you seen them live before? If not, you're in for a treat. This tour has been much better than any of the previous ones, Gahan is one charismatic and entertaining man. Damn! They're amazing live, amazing...the concert in March was possibly the best one I've ever been to and I go to a *lot* of concerts.

Hmmm, I can see certain similarities - the soulful eyes, the luxurious mane, the generous expanse of facial hair, the enviable ability to pursue gazelle across the savannah at 60mph . . . okay, maybe not the last one. Although I think the term 'homo-feline' is much more applicable to Jake than others I could mention.

Its the friggin' circle of life! Jake's ever increasing mane bears a disticnt resemblance to said feline. Said feline is too good for casual jake linkage, regardless of facial (mane) similarities.

Jake's face really is a very curious object for contemplation. He's got extremely handsome but also very exaggerated, oversized features, just like a caricature's. In particular, those large eyeballs with their heavy eyelids & the rather feminine eyelashes. So he's already slightly cartoonish-looking, all on his own -- even without an artist's intervention. His beauty is undeniable, but it is also rather unusual. I wonder, what does he look like in person, when there's no camera mediating between him & the viewer?

That pic of Jake in black is one of the most fucking gorgeous pictures I've ever seen of Jake! I don't have time to think about the possible Simba resemblance, I'm too destracted by that extaordinary picture of him!!

Cina, I really like the stubble level on the picture of Jake wearing black. Here, his handsome face is not obliterated. There's just enough to give him ... an interesting texture. (Imagine the stubble rubbing across your own face. Or other places, as appropriate ;-) And that level of facial hair lends him a little maturity & gravitas, if that's what he's after -- if he's afraid of looking overly boyish or too pretty. Or is it sheer laziness, that makes Jake passively allow himself to get so very, very hairy? Maybe he sprouts five o' clock shadow in three seconds flat & he simply hates shaving. Or does he grow it for purposes of concealment? Can't be for warmth, since winter's long over.
That last picture of him creeped me out...didn't think that was possible with a Jake picture.
