QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"My character's the one that kind of initiates these sexual encounters, which to me was, like, totally foreign."
Jake Gyllenhaal, the shy and retiring type.

Like, seriously? Jake, this news disappoints me. I had you down as a sexual predator ready to pounce at any moment. A untamed beast that cannot be stopped. What about my motel room fantasies, Jake? What about all that groaning you did with Kiki in the changing rooms of a fashionable London boutique? Say it ain't so!

If you are an unusually beautiful young boy, do you get used very early to being stared at and approached with a sexual intent by people of all genders, who are often much, much older than you? And do you thus become more passive in the transaction than someone who always has to work for it? Just wondering ...

LMFAO!!! Priceless.

He's totally lying. He's definitely a pin-you-up-against-the-wall-and-take-you-right-there kind of guy. I refuse to believe otherwise.

Ok, NOW I need a moment! Thanks for the image in my head, prophecygirl. Not that I'm complaining or anything....LOL!

LOl at prophecy girl. Now that's what we're talking about.

He was talking about Brokeback Mountain. It being totally foreign to him with another man.Thank god for that!Huge sigh of relief.

Ha! Glad you all liked my fantasy. I mean, I totally just came up with that and don't ever spend vacant moments at work thinking dirty Jake thoughts or anything... I agree with anonymous 8:57, in that it must have been a guys-only reference. With girls, it's Jack Nasty. All. The. Way.

Thanks prophecy girl and yah I agree. Man sex was totally foreign to him until that one night when he and Heath were rehearsing that one time in the trailer... okay I'll stop. I think Kiki was probably the initiator of all that public sex. She was the party girl after all.

Oh, yeah, squallcloud. That trailer rehearsal thing. I definitely never think about that, either. :) Ow-ow!

As much as I like the idea of him pinning me up against a wall (and trust me I do) I'm a little upset at the public moaning with Kiki! Thats just not fair! Could I be any more jealous!?

Of course, "bi-curious" men are never the aggressor -- they just let it happen, because they're not really interested, they're just really curious.

Oh my, prophecy girl, that visual is almost too visceral for me... think I'm having a hot flash... *fans self*

Oh, for sure. In fact she probably stamped on Jake's foot as a cue for more I-want-to-be-heard noise, lol. Jake strikes me as an "indoors" man, but once there...walls, staircases, the island in the kitchen under his collection of top-of-the-line pots and pans...oooh, yes.

What does it matter? I mean, does the fact that he isn't as forward and confrontational as you may think seriously kill the image you have of him?

I do not take it as a 'men's only' reference.

Ideally, I'd like to think it isn't either. He's certainly a romantic and a gentleman in general, but passionate, too, I gather. (I was intrigued by what anon 5:53 said, too, I think there could be something to that.) Personally, I like to think he's shy and non-confrontational in the ways of courtship; it would only sweeten his image for me.

I really would love to see his pots and pans, though, heheheh. ;)

I am never gonna be able to cook in a kitchen again... or live anywhere with walls, staircases, etc... lol
