Shit, that second card got me in a Shakespearian kinda mood and made me think of a sonett that fits Jake perfectly! Time for some poetry here ladies (and a damn good one too!):

"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate;
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
and summer's lease hath all too short a date;
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometimes declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wonder'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st;
So long as man can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee."

This is, by far, the most beautiful declaration of love ever written imo. And it sure fits Jake, doesn't it?

Wow. These are both really good. I think the standard just keep getting raised (or is it lowered?).

Can it be lowered...then raised?

Love both of these. Amen to the first one and I'm probably right up there stalking with the second one. ;)

Whoever wrote the first one is seriously stealing my thoughts...that is freaky...

Thank God for the first one - I won't feel so embarrassed when mine comes along.

Postcards are absolutely gettin better and better!!!!!
First one has a very simplistic layout which I like a lot.. kind of 'less is more'..

That first one is amazing.

Nice to have a place where we can admit stuff like that. :-)

Oh, whoever wrote that second one, I hear you. I mean, I am not plotting out the logistics of how to bring about a meeting. I sort of just imagining it happening, out of nowhere, by chance. But every meeting that I imagine ends in desperate embarrassment on my part. Like one of those dreams where you can't bring yourself to speak, you're wearing your sleeping t-shirt or nothing at all, and everyone in the room starts laughing at you, while Jake slowly grows annoyed. So I'm just going to keep it a fantasy.
