CLOONEY AIN'T GOT NOTHIN' ON THIS
Jake always seems to be labelled 'geeky' and 'goofy' but I've maintained the belief that he is one cool customer. Just check him out here - sharp suit, flashy watch and megastar shades, er, purple stripey tie - he is GANGSTA!

"er, purple stripey tie"...LOL! Yep, sorta loses it's "gangsta" edge with that tie. ;) The Gyllenhaal is a hottie no matter what he's wearing, don'tcha think?! But then, so is George Clooney. :)
Good Lord, he looks fabulous. Love the purple stripey and the dark suit and shades. Yes, he's definitely HOT and COOL at the same time. Do you notice how he looks great in every color: Black, white, blue (a la Jack Twist), purple, green gray! Loving it. Wonder if this is a new photo...I've never seen it before.
He needs to get a new tailor though.His jackets,sleeves and trouser legs are always too short!

's why I'm such a fangirl - he does 'geeky' and 'cool' at the same time. He reminds me of Elijah Wood a lot sometimes, because of that.
This is old because I saw this in person! It is from the Toronto Film Festival premiere of "Brokeback" back in September!! It was an amazing experience to see the movie before it got so big. The whole cast was there, Jake, Heath, Michelle, Anne along with Jake's folks, Maggie and Peter Sargaard!
Actually Jake's suit was perfrectly tailored when he was standing straight.
He always looks good to me no matter what. Jake does have that Clooney Old Hollywood vibe about him when he dresses up. Anonymous above got it right: HOT and COOL at the same time. How many people have that?
I woke up this morning with the killer old skool track 'Hey D.J.' in my head, which seemed odd, but now I know why. I'm thinking darkened cave of a club, cigarettes, martinis and that hot and cool ensemble strewn with lusty abandon on a floor - any floor. Ok, one of my floors. Mee-ow.
And anon 10:43, I thought I recognised those store fronts! Woo, Toronto! Let's hope he comes back (though I reckon 'Zodiac' won't be a film festival piece.)

Anon 10:43 AM here. Um, anon 11:42 AM, I was there and have pictures of him in that exact suit. Yes it is from the opening night of BBM at TIFF at the Elgin Theatre. There was a second screeing with Ang Lee a day later because he was in Venice picking up the Golden Lion.

He looks like a kid playing dress-up. He is just so young-looking and seeming, but that will stand him in good stead as he gets older.
BTW, the Defamer.com gossip site says he was at the Coachella festival this past weekend. I wonder who he was there to see? Madonna?

Just spotted Jake Gyllenhaal at The Black Rider at the Ahmanson. (It's an avant garde Robert Wilson / Tom Waits show.) He was wearing that cream colored zip up thing that he's been sporting a lot recently, and had a gaggle of pretty boys around them. He drove off in a Gray Mercedes with license plate number ********? He's just as adorable in person, and looks exactly like his photos.

He had a friendship ring for KD, who has now gone and so has her ring, I hope. He also bought himself a ring after that - I'd give him one of mine,one with a chain, and tie him to me. Sexiest man on the planet, even in a purple tie.
