BRANDING
I know it's early days, but lets face it, this blog is on the up. You might be interested to hear that Jake Watch is now ranked 198 on blogtopsites (Entertainment catergory), just behind NUDE CELEBRITY GIRLS but way above Planet Keira and Just Hilary Duff. All this means that merchandise is inevitable. T-Shirts, bumper stickers, beach towels, tattoos; it's all in the near future as far as I am concerned. So over I trotted to www.cafepress.com to see if any deals could be had and just look at what I found:
Imagine my excitement! My two favourite interests: Jake Gyllenhaal and pet fashion, fused together at last! Can you picture it? Dogs all across the world, parading round parks, with Jake Watch plastered across their backs. Or how about a FREE BOO range with Boo insignia?
Oh, it's almost beyond comprehension its that wonderous!
Anyways, back to the homo sapien line. I've got a few slogans in mind:
- Jake Watch: Well someone has to keep a damn eye on him...(aka, The Original)
- Jake Watch: Possibly the only blog in the world stalking with a vengeance...
- Please get out the way, professional stalker coming through...
- I don't need any of you losers, I have Jake.
- Have you seen Jake Gyllenhaal? I have his socks.
If you have any thoughts on the matter, please let me know. Also feel free to add slogans of your own invention.

Please take this as constructive criticism, but this is is the most tremendously unfunny blog I've read as of late. Cribbing material from IMDb--not a good idea.
I can see you're trying, but is it working?--not so much. All this innuendo about Jake is out on every blog there is. If you're going to cover it, at least do it in a different wat than Perez or Dawker or D-Listed or any other countless gossip site out there.
Writing it from the perspective of Boo or poor conflicted Jake--that would be original.
Well thank you (sort of) for your opinion my anonymous friend. I'm sorry you don't like the blog but you can't please 'em all. Writing it from the perspective of Jake/Boo is an interesting idea but I think it would run out of steam fast. I don't think the blog is exactly like Perez, etc because it's specialised and was designed in mind for Jake fans not general gossipmongerers.
But again, thanks for the constructive feedback (sort of).
And you could have at least left your name so I could hunt you down...
I like the original too, and I love that blog, it's not like the other gossip sites. It's ironic and funny, but I think is respectful, and it makes me laugh. And it's all about Jake! That's good for me!
I think this blog is refreshing from all the gossip about Jake. Keep up the good work and please more Joseph Gordon Levitt. He is really hott! :)
