Oh God, how I hate Star Trek. I mean, hate it. (My hatred for it is only exceeded by my dislike of Tolkein-related stuff.) That's not your fault, BritPopBaby. But the juxtaposition of those two photos gives me a slight chill. (What's the female equivalent of saying: "Way to kill a boner"?)
OMG, it's scary how much they look like each other. Please say this is not the next step in Jake's career. I'm not a Trekkie, and though I will follow him where ever he leads me, this would hurt! A lot!
They look creepily alike in these photos but I'd have to agree with nice anonymous. I am sooo not a Trekkie. And I'd never want to see Jake in an outfit like that.
Jakey doesn't need a spaceship to be a heavenly body! And that guy looks like Falstaff! or some guy auditioning at the Met...for Falstaff. Maybe it's a feature of this disease, Gyllenasia, I've heard about. We see Jakey in everything. I have to lie down now. I will close my eyes. I will picture Jakey. He is playing baseball. He has green shorts on. He is topless. Hairy. Sweaty. He is flexing his muscles with the bat. He stretches. He swings. He takes off running. I trip him. We fall.
When I first saw the pictures my initial reaction was oh God please don't tell me someone wants Jake for a Star Trek movie! Like, Anna, I will follow him wherever, but I pray it's not any where off of this planet.
This is purely anti-aaaaaw to me.. Jake, go back to your old style pleeeaze..

Under the cover of anonymity, I feel free to say that I love debonair, shaved, coutured Jake, but the Grizzly Adams thing has an undeniably primal effect on me that debonair Jake can't touch. It makes me imagine sweaty, doggy style sex on a bearskin rug in his cave...
In a galaxy far far away.....or coffee shop...restaurant...Well those are my next guesses..He should really start writing restaurant reviews. The "Jakgat" guide to fine dining... A little online blog spot...

Ah Star Trek the reason I'm such a internet geek to begin with. Between ST (DS9 especially), video games and now Jake and BBM, I've been a net rat for quite some time now.
1. Commander Riker was under Captain Jean-Luc Picard, not Captain Kirk. Unless that's just a line from the song when there's Klingons off the starboard bow. Hilarious.
2. Shame on you lot. You're saying that if Jake was in Star Trek, a show that is on ALL the time and has weekend marathons on the Sci-Fi channel, that you would not watch out of principle? That you would miss out on hours and hours of Jake-Watching time? Call yourself Jake Watch Fans!
