HEY JAKE, DID YOU REMEMBER TO GET SOME SAN PELLEGRINO?

Because I think they have a sale on. I know it's your favourite.

LOL! I saw the San Pellegrino entry when I was reading through Jake Watch history yesterday, and was wondering if you were going pick that up. :D

oh look, the tee color matches the stripes on his pants *aww*

what the heck is that white sign thing which looks like hanging in the air in front of his legs?

I think he just looks a little irked that he missed the San Pellegrino sale - buy one get twenty free from the looks of it.

At this moment, I abandon my consume of "Font Vella" and "Solán de Cabras" mineral waters. I'm a "San Pellegrino" newbie now, I hope to find that brand in Spain.

Oh, how I wish he'd bump his shopping cart into mine.

But my local A&P is far less upscale than whatever store he frequents. Look at that faux-stone lion's head poised over a basin, in an attempt at providing the atmosphere of a European fountain at an outdoor market. Instead of that, my A&P has a row of machines for returning cans & bottles, which emanate the smell of cheap beer.

I lost a very nice amber & silver earring in the parking lot there last week. I'm sure I'll never get it back. At Jake's store, in Jake's neighborhood, I bet I would.

I've heard that San Pellegrino ad on the NY Times radio station! The singer has a sort of brassy blonde 60s nightclub singer sound. (You can imagine the Rat Pack grooving to her.)

Jake's looks great! And speaking of him as best dressed, Jake is 4th on the Esquire list of best dressed men!

Oops, sorry that last link was the wrong thing, here is the correct link to Jake on the Esquire Best Dressed list!

Simon, just for you:

There's a link here to a recording of the San Pellegrino jingle.

Suddenly imagining handsome Jake, channeling a Dean Martin/Tony Bennett vibe, singing the "San Pellegrino" jingle at a night club. Swinging the cord of the mike, snapping his fingers. Looking like he's secretly beholden to the mafia. Flirting with a mobster's girlfriend in the front row.

He'd look great, damn it.

If Jake can't host "Saturday night Live," couldn't he be a guest star on the Sopranos?

Sorry for forgetting you even for a minute, Frank.

Why does Jake have to do a biopic of Lance? Why not play Ol' Blue Eyes?

I want Jake in a movie where he wears a tux, since he looks so good in them. Has he ever played an elegant guy -- or just scruffy, intense, sort of outcast types on the edge of receiving public assistance?

Oh bleedin' hell, I was going to write a very witty water-related comment to accompany this post, but then I got completely sidetracked by those photoshopped pics and forgot what I was going to put.

But yeah, erm, it's very important to keep oneself hydrated . . . oh sod it!

wow, i started drinking san pellegrino a few years ago because i thought it would be ok to order that instead of a drink when i go out b/c i don't like much liquor. my friends found this pretentious.

now that jake drinks it it's got extra special meaning to me. doesn't taste so special really....

Also, the DC is having a bar b que so those of us that are left behind are dealing with slow moving threads for the first time in months. Just wanted you all to know that so that you could step up the posting here and entertain me. :oD

Actually, this pic was taken at the Bristol Farms Gourmet Emporium in WeHo where Jake just start his part time job as a bagger boy. They only need him for the days when Barbra Streisand stops in...she's kind of particular about who handles her bags...he enjoys it bcz it keeps him in touch with what's "real." The gorgeous red shirt with white shorts was his idea. Says it lends a kind of panache to the experience...

Is that a natural spring of San Pellegrino at the back behind Jake?

Why, actually, TBL, that's exactly what dear Babs did do when Jake walked up to her and said, "Here. Let me help you with that..."
Bristol Farms is really pleased with Jake's performance. Their business has more than tripled, altho, they've had to add Depends to their inventory...lots of women of a certain age have rediscovered Bristol Farms. But inside each package of Depends, there is a large bottle of San Pelligrino, so it all works out really well. (Pics with Betty White on Iheartjake.)

TBL: It was indeed Babs. There were three members of her SWAT team with her, tho one remained in the car. But alas. They too, froze, dropped Babs' arms which they were holding, and peed all over the floor when confronted by The Sex....Jake must be commended for his mental agility. He doused all of them with San Pellegrino, gallons of it, then put it on her tab.
