THE SUNDAY PROJECT

Well, with it being Sunday and all.

I'm not sure how Jake manages to make decisions without this feature so I thought we should hastily address this topic: Wish You Were Here? Jake has been all the way to France and back in recent times so I'm quite randomly presuming he has been bitten by the travel bug. But where should he venture next? I tried to include places I didn't think he'd been yet but now as I type this I realise he was in Mexico for the filming of Jarhead so scrap that last one and replace it with your own suggestions.

NB: This weeks Sunday Project is dedicated to kelle k. who had this gem of wisdom to offer us all:
I was a devout JW reader in the beginning (funny, I don't recall you) but then things started going downhill (yet my traffic increased, odd!). Brit stop doing the rubric rodeo (no I didn't) and the Sunday projects, (no I didn't), and it just became a little boring to me. So I went elsewhere for my Jake fix. Waiting for Toothy is still a Jake's fan dream (k), all the recent pictures are up like at JW, it's funny, and the owner Dany has always been nice to everyone. Both Brit and Dany have been gracious to each other (civil would be a more appropriate adjective but whatever), even when their readers hacked each other to pieces. Anyway my point is if you don't like a place then you shouldn't go (and yet here you are!) but to bash it just because a person mentions it here is silly (meh).
See, I do listen to the constructive criticism especially when it's ironic. So, thanks for your input kelle k, god I hope you stay awake long enough to read this before the boredom takes you over,
kthnxbye.

(Sorry everyone, I'll stop this soon - I need to get it out of my system. It calms me to answer back and I'm angry that PG had to put up with it in my absence. I'm just having a temporary take no prisoners attitude - it should be amusing.)

I love the idea of him in Australia! They are so exuberant and fun-loving...but as I think about it...I really think Jakey should go to the South Pole....are there any girls at the South Pole? Or maybe the Galapagos.

^LOL

I'm sure there are a few deserted islands off the coast of Scotland he could visit too!

Why fly the four corners of the globe?
He's always welcome to stay with me.
Time spent with me would be a real break from the hum-drum routine of the Alps and Paris.
And he wouldn't find my company so dull as to leave me far behind on his bicycle....
We might have to fight over who sees which section of the paper first...but a little conflict keeps things fresh? right?

^^^ Hee. I've always thought the Birthplace of Rock and Roll was a good tourist destination myself. Really, I have to vote Ireland (but I'm biased).

Africa isnt' a country. It's the second largest continent in the world. It has 53 countries in it and is the well from which all life sprang. *takes breath*

Okay now that that is out of my system, I think he should visit Ireland and run across Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Cork so that some Irish pap can take a picture of them together because then I'd have my two current sex obsessions in the same photo and thusly a new forum avatar for the DC. :oD

See how it's all about me and my needs?

I didn't say it was a country. I just know he hasn't been anywhere in Africa so I offered the whole place up.

I know, not meaning to be all snooty I just work in American education and hear it put in with lists of countries ALL the time so I'm sensitive to it. No offense meant at all.

You may snoot away, it was kinda justified ;)

Such a lovely letter Brits! I think you should offer this sort of thing every week, made me laugh!

Ha! Africa- all the cool kids are doing it. The other days it was all about how to get to Miami or Hawaii. These days it's cool to get to any unknown place in Africa, just like Wondergelina. Not that I have anything against her or Africa, it's just the tendencies I don't like..

I think I'd chose Ireland as well, for the sights and beer! We've recently found out that Jake's into beer as well,so maybe he'll go for it. Europe does that to you. Makes you a drunken monkey :)

Ireland. Because I want to go there too. Preferably with Jake...

I just never get why people compare WFT and JW. I like both places and I like to read and post at both places. That's why I don't like the fighting that goes on in the comments or when people trash either place because there are some of us that go to both so no matter what we're insulted in those people's comments at both places.

Ooh- definitely a small Island off the coast of Scotland- in fact he could probably afford to buy one for himself and then invite all his loyal Jake Watch fans to come visit. As Scotland is the home of golf he could get himself a minature golf course and I could teach him how to score holes in one among other things...

Can I just suggest the beautiful beautiful island of Zanzibar of the coast of Africa. It recently had a cameo in the 2005 Madagascar another beautiful contry le afrique.
I'm sure jake will love it there!

Ooohhh, ZANZIBAR!! I've always wanted to go there. *sigh*

Wow, a whole post dedicated to me. I feel so special. Thank you Brit. And all I had to do was share my honest opinion. I'm glad I decided to give myself a name. I think I'll start posting at WFT using my name. Maybe Dany will dedicate a whole post to me too.

Australia of course! He'd love it down here.. the beautiful weather, the stunning beaches, and a laid back attitude.. it would be perfect! Oh and he could visit a zoo while he was here and get photographed cuddling a cute little baby koala. Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Ireland, in about a week and half's time, would be absolutely fine.

Jake should come to my country.
Seoul is a beauty in summer better than LA even.
Has he ever been to the far east?

britpopbaby said...

I being serious about the koala thing! I thought they had two vaginas and you weren't supposed to hug them! Okay, that may be the stupiest thing I've ever written but I swear it's true. I think it was on Newsround...

I think Jake went to Tokoyo for a Jarhead premiere once, but I could be wrong.

I've always fancied Egypt myself.
