JAKE DID NOT SPEND FATHER'S DAY AT A MEDIEVAL FAYRE. HIS LOSS.

A farmer's market is damn close though - do they even have farmers in LA? How rural of him. He seems to have brought a bag of yoghurt covered raisins but we'll have to wait for the bigger pictures for official confirmation. Thanks to miffed for finding this link.

I WAS AT THE FARMER'S MARKET!! IT WAS WHERE I SPENT MY FIRST MORNING IN LA! I'm sorry, I had to use all caps to express my annoyance at Jake visiting all these places AFTER I have been to them. Jake, this stalking thing doesn't really work unless we show up at the same time. Sigh.

Bet he was there en famille to select items for special Father's Day dinner he would prepare for his Hot Papa. Mam's kind of kool, too! We must thank them profusely for siring the most genetically perfect human being on the planet!
Glad they didn't have anymore sons. I mean, after Jake, what's left?

Sounds much better than what it looks like to me. Plain popcorn... :D

If they are yoghurt-covered raisins, that's just how I like 'em . . . with a side order of Gyllenhaal.

you can enlarge the pictures by clicking on preview. yes its popcorn and yes its papa in the orange shirt. mama has a nice behind.

Oh,popcorn for everybody on Father's Day?Or just a hidden pleasure of his while watching "Will and Grace"? We'll never know, but judging by the smile in the 6th photo, I'd go with the pleasure thing. I must say..in that photo he looks a little like an old man contemplating the vegetables, the old ladies and thinking about old habbits. That smile may have various interpretations..*wonders which one to chose*

P.S.: at IHJ's eye candy you can view the pics bigger.Seeking is the key :D

@wtbgirl: congrats for succeeding to quit smoking. I have failed gracefully each time I tried. Well, I'll keep trying I guess.

Awww, honey, I feel your pain! Will blog comment later, internet issues at work, dammit! Hopefully they'll fix it this afternoon!

Jake's adorable in those flip-flops, ugly feet or not.

Mmmmmmm, solid Jake.

PG! I can't believe you went to all these places and he rubs it in your face by going like, a month later! Sometimes he can be so cruel to us...

I want to see more of the hairy legs and the feet. Flop Flops are good, some man sandals are good also. What is his shoe size, 12?

It's as if he's mocking me. I'm really going to have to request some sort of effort on his part to help me along here. An apology, in any form deemed appropriate, would be a start. :) In other news, good Lord miffed! Internet problems at work! That's the worst thing I can think to happen! I hope you're up and running soon.

P.S. In reference to anon 11.17, do we know his shoe size? And if not, why not? This is highly important information.

Danm PG you don't have much luck first we miss each other and now you miss Jake.

Is it me or does Jake only own the one t-shirt? The past few pap photos have had him in the same t-shirt-I like it but come on! If my memory serves me he was wearing the same top when he visited Sprinkles cupcakes a few weeks ago? I admit time has passed since the last sighting of the t-shirt so it has probably been washed...nice to know he's not one of those celebs who wear a top once then chuck it away! Keepin it real Jakey!

I walked right by the ad campaign filming next to the courts, and even stopped for a minute.

Wow, that's pretty bad..

Oh my God, wtbgirl! It hurts me to even read about such a near miss! At least the odds are with you, in that he pops into NY frequently and you're already there. Oh, I hope you run into him one day! At least then I could live vicariously through you. :)

Wow, and I thought MY life sucked!

PG....you have NO idea how hard it is to NOT run screaming from the building! The only reason I'm here now is because I had to go to ANOTHER county office, several miles away, where they still have internet access, because I can't even DO MY JOB without the internet - HELLO! I shouldn't complain, it's not IT's fault, we had bad storms here over the weekend, and they knocked out the router for my building.

brit, OT I know....I sowwy!

Becky Heineke said...

Good God, miffed! I can do about half of my job without the internet. However, the abuse of my internet priviledges is completely outrageous. I don't know how I would survive without my frequent web diversions. Stupid weather.

Very OT; sorry...so, anyone else got a near-miss story? I'm sort of feeling better now that I have wtbgirl to commiserate with... :)

I DID see the Saarsgard a few weeks ago, lugging a VERY large framed print, and sweating - it looked heavy, he looked moist, and I felt it prudent to leave him alone with his oversized package.

You saw Sarsy?! In the flesh?! DAMN, girl! AND you've got the ultimate Jake weapon? An enormous and undoubtedly adorable canine? You looking for a roommate? :)

Becky Heineke said...

Oh, Peter's chubby? Could the adorableness-level on this family get any higher?! In case it wasn't clear in the five or so posts, I'm highly jealous, wtbgirl, but with that jealousy comes a burning hope that you will one day see the mighty Jake. And when that day comes, you will run home to your computer as fast as your feet will carry you and tell us EVERYTHING. Oh, but you might want to mention your purple-haired comrade to Jake, and just let him know that I'm expecting some sort of apology for avoiding me. I'm sure he'll understand. :D

Wow, wtbgirl, you saw Peter?! And he was sweaty?! That makes my mind go naughty places. ;-)

I don't live in NYC (so wish I did!) but I was there about two weeks ago and while there I was strolling through the West Village and stumbled upon the basketball court where Jakey had been playing a few weeks ago. I recognized the murals on the wall from the pap pictures. I almost shrieked. Now that I know where that court is, I am making it my mission to stop by there whenever I'm in NYC. Maybe one day the gods will smile down upon me and grace me with the sight of sweaty Jake playing basketball again.

he is a 10.5 shoe size!

From an Oct 2005 interview from IHJ (source ContactMusic)

He adds, "I had a 10-and-a-half wide and a 10-and-a-half regular (boot size) and I had loaned one of the guys my 10-and-a-half wide boots.

"I thought my other boots would stretch and it would be fine but I was standing there for two and a half hours and my left shin was hurting so badly."

Wtbgirl... please don't post about seeing the sarsgaard... I only come here for crumbs about my Peter...

For all you Sarsgaard lovers, go over to IHJ Community - encounters thread. The story of two girls who met Peter at a play in NYC recently. Lovely story and beautiful pictures too.
