Jake Watch got reviewed over at italk2much. I submitted it about two months ago to see what would happen and 'twas not good. Here is what the reviewer Charred had to say:
I understand that Mr. Gyllenhall is an attractive young man who’s very much in the public eye, and I understand that people can get...obsessive in their emotional attachments.
I also understand that this blog is meant to have a a tongue-in-cheek, “we’re just pretending to be this crazy” attitude about it, but...why?

Jen's a bit old, isn't she? Although they would make such a beautiful couple that just seeing them together makes my computer screen almost combust. It wasn't so bad in The Good Girl - she was going for the dowdy look, but when she's looking like her beautiful self...

This blog is the kick. Anyone who can't see that, well fuck 'em. Why do people feel the need to review everything any damn way? It's a blog. You either are interested in the subject or your not. There is very little objectivity.

Its exactly the sort of sneering up its own arse pretentious blog that I hate - where all the inadequates with low self esteem but big egos come together to reverberate their own snide bitchiness and pat each other on the back for it. Man, that article about Jake and Jenn drives me crazy. When they describe the dinner itself and the interaction between them, it couldn't be more clear that these two are JUST friends. So why feel the need to pretend there was anything romantic or threatening to Vince in it. The description speaks for itself. I HATE how two actors can't just be friends without people assuming they could be or should be dating.

I doubt that Jake and Natalie are a couple. The only "proof" the media have is that they came out of the restaurant smiling and she was holding flowers. They've been friends for a long time and they don't see each other often, why can't the media just allow him to hang out with friends without trying to hook him up with everyone?

:) Yeah...we're all waiting. I know myself how it is to be single and everybody around you are wondering how it "goes". Honestly, I don't know any more irritating situation than that!
^^ That makes two of us. So annoying. And seriously - is it SO hard for people to understand that you actually can be happy AND single? Jake could do worse than Jen, because with age comes experience. I also think he and Natalie Portman would made one hell of a cute couple. As much as I wish he would turn his attention to a 26-year-old non-famous bespectacled British brunette, I'm sure that when/if Jake finally takes the plunge it'll be with a fantabulous lady that we'll initially try to find fault with but end up admitting that we really like.
